Kind & Gezin (Child & Family) is a Flemish governmental agency with responsibility for young children and families in Flanders. The agency is located in Brussels. Its main task is to implement government policy for young children and for families with young children, in particular in the fields of preventive care, child care services, family support, diversity and children's rights. Kind & Gezin operates under the direct authority of the Flemish Minister of Welfare, Health and Family, and works in close co-operation with the Flemish Ministry of Education. (Read more)
